About Dave
Dave is small for a boy.

Dave grew up near Inverness, in the north of Scotland and went to Culloden Academy. Since he left he has been at Dundee University making the most of being a student.

In his time Dave has been involved in many clubs; Ski and Snowboard, Sailing and Surf Sports. Dave sailed for the sailing team and became treasurer of the Sailing Club. In that same year he joined the Sports Union Executive. Dave was involved in various aspects of the Sports Union during his time on the Exec. Last year Dave was elected Vice President of Communications on the Union Executive.

Since his election Dave has initiated changes, building student engagement at Dundee, re-launching The Magdalen, building a new website and supporting societies.

Another area on which Dave has worked is student run events. He has supported DUBS in running live gigs in the Union and other societies with events such as"T in Floor 5", run by the Law society, "Boxwars" run by People and Planet and the Islamic Society's Fun Day.

Dave is running for president because he knows - as we do - that he has the experience, ideas and vision necessary to be a fantastic president.
